6:00PM – Doors open - Ribbon cutting, featuring Tere Carrubba, Alfred Hitchcock’s granddaughter, and Scotts Valley Mayor Jack Dilles; walk on by “Alfred Hitchcock” (impersonator)

6:30PM – Talk featuring Tere Carrubba and Jay Topping - Memories and local Hitchcock history.

7:30PM – Show film: Shadow of a Doubt

2:00 pm – Show film: Vertigo

4:30 pm – Panel discussion with Logan Walker, UC Santa Cruz Lecturer in Film & Digital Media, and Shelley Stamp, Professor of Film & Digital Media at UC Santa Cruz, discussing Hitchcock’s history as a director and the two films we have viewed. Audience participation.

6:00 PM – Dessert & Wine Party. Costume Contest. - Complimentary desserts and wine!  Attendees at the 2023 Alfred Hitchcock Festival will enjoy wines from Heart O’ the Mountain, the former property of Alfred Hitchcock, and currently home to Armitage Wines. Meet Alfred Hitchcock's granddaughter!  Stand to win prizes! Anyone in a Hitchcock-themed costume will be welcome to enter the costume contest and be judged by Hitchcock's granddaughter herself, Tere Carrubba. Prizes offered for the best costumes depicting Hitchcock and his films. Audience will be invited to vote on what they would like to see and hear next year.

Hosted Mimosas & Light Refreshments

10:45AM – Mimosa and Light Brunch. One of the earliest noteworthy Mimosa fans was legendary director Alfred Hitchcock. He was known to enjoy Mimosas so much that some stories even credit him with inventing the cocktail in San Francisco in the 1940s. In 1925, across the English Channel, Frank Meier of the Ritz Hotel in Paris supposedly made the first Mimosa by adjusting the ratios to the classic 1:1 of champagne and orange juice. Meier published the Mimosa recipe in his 1936 book, “The Artistry of Mixing Drinks,” a guide that outlined cocktail recipes and good manners.

11:45AM - Movie screening: Suspicion
